One Week Before
Clear the Schedule
Block off project days on your calendar
Arrange pet care if needed (paint fumes)

Remove all items from cabinets being refinished
Box and label contents for easy replacement
Store items in another room or garage
Document Everything
Photograph cabinet contents and organization
Note any existing damage for comparison
Record serial numbers of appliances near work area
The Day Before
Clear Countertops
Remove small appliances
Store decorative items safely
Clear everything from counters
Protect Adjacent Areas
We'll cover floors and countertops, but you can help by:
Moving furniture away from work zones
Rolling up area rugs
Relocating fragile items from nearby rooms
Prepare Temporary Kitchen
Set up a temporary kitchen space with:
Coffee maker
Microwave
Toaster
Paper plates and utensils
Bottled water
Snacks that don't need refrigeration
During the Project
Kitchen Access
Your kitchen won't be completely off-limits:
Refrigerator remains accessible
Sink may be available between work sessions
We'll communicate each day's plan
